HOUSTON — Former clients of a law firm headed by the late John O’Quinn have filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit accusing their former counsel of neglect and malfeasance in litigating their silica claims or processing settlements.
A total of 33 plaintiffs from Alabama and Mississippi are named in the 51-page complaint filed Dec. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas against O’Quinn’s estate, his surviving firm, his former partners, and referring counsel.
