CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A West Virginia contract laborer assigned to work at a Schlumberger Technology Corp. (NYSE: SLB) and Consol Energy Inc. (NYSE: CNX) gas drilling site has filed responses to defendants’ motions for summary judgment on his claim that he was injured by exposure to hydraulic “fracking” chemicals and silica dust.
Salvatore M. Bombardiere Sr. filed opposition briefs Nov. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, which has scheduled trial in his toxic tort suit for Jan. 8.
