NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey federal judge has reconsidered an earlier decision to allow a cleaning firm’s driver to pursue a negligence claim against Quad Graphics (NYSE: QUAD) over accidental chemical exposure and granted Quad’s motion for summary judgment.
Chief Judge Jerome B. Simandle ruled Sept. 14 that, based on his earlier decision to exclude three of plaintiff Brian Steele’s four experts, Steele would be unable to meet New Jersey’s proximate cause requirement for a toxic tort negligence claim.
