GREEN BAY, Wis. — A federal judge who has already decided that the Federal Labor Standards Act does not require that Waupaca Foundry Inc. (KPS) pay employees for time spent showering and changing clothes after their shifts is weighing a final judgment on the employee’s state law claims, as well.
Waupaca (formerly ThyssenKrupp Waupaca Inc.) and its employees submitted opposing briefs on the issue at the court’s request after its July 19 order granting Waupaca’s motion for summary judgment on federal law claims.
