Plaintiffs in Last Active Welding Fume MDL Case Move for Remand to Mississippi

CLEVELAND — Plaintiffs in what is described as the only active case remaining in the Welding Fume Products MDL have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to remand the case to the transferor court in Mississippi.

James H. and Michelle D. Baxter filed the motion Aug. 21, stating that they and their counsel have chosen not to participate in the national resolution of welding cases that led to the winding down of the court’s MDL proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
