U.S. Silica Subpoenas Deposition of Alabama Screening Company




CLEVELAND - Defendant U.S. Silica has noticed the deposition of an Alabama-based X-ray screening company that was used in Ohio to examine potential plaintiffs for silicosis and asbestosis. Couts, et al. v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 466469 (Ohio Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).

In its notice of Rule 30(b)(5) discovery deposition and Testificandum Duces Tecum filed Sept. 19, U.S. Silica requests that an employee from Respiratory Testing Services(RTS) be present and prepared to answer questions on all matters relating to its X-ray screen practices in Ohio.
