CLEVELAND - Lincoln Electric Co. has filed its opposition to its umbrella insurers' motion to dismiss the welding fume defendant's coverage action, disputing the carriers' assertions of lack of notice or that it has yet to exhaust underlying coverage limits. Lincoln Electric Co. v. Travelers Casualty and Surety Co., et al., No. 1:11-cv-2253 (N.D. Ohio).
Lincoln filed its opposition brief April 10, redacting portions relating to a 2000 settlement between Lincoln and its primary insurer, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co., that the court has agreed could be filed under seal.
