OAKLAND, Calif. - Counsel for most of the four dozen bridge welders awaiting a June trial on allocation of settlement funds have asked to withdraw as counsel for two plaintiffs. Aguirre, et al. v. ESAB, et al., No. RG 05-212890 [In re: Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

Attorneys with the firm of Weltin, Streb & Weltin filed a case management statement April 6 in which they cited communication and contact issues for their request to withdraw as counsel for welders Chris Hallstrom and William Wafer.
