WASHINGTON, D.C. - A Missouri plaintiff who has been representing herself in the welding fume MDL in Ohio has asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to remand her case to the transferor court, saying that only case specific issues remain. Emerson v. Lincoln Electric Co., No. 1:09-wf-17066-KMO [MDL No. 1535][No. 5:09-cv-06004, W.D. Mo.] (N.D. Ohio).
Plaintiff Janice Emerson submitted a motion for remand in the JPML and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio March 14.
