Calif. Judge Grants Parties' Wish to Postpone Welding Fume Coverage Trial

OAKLAND, Calif. - The judge presiding over the California bridge welders' coordinated litigation has agreed to postpone a scheduled May trial on allocation of insurance proceeds from a settling defendant. In re: Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman signed the order March 13, and has rescheduled trial to begin June 6 pursuant to a Feb. 29 stipulation between the remaining plaintiffs.
