WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware's Supreme Court has denied a petition for interlocutory appeal of a trial court order barring an epidemiologist from testifying for plaintiffs who claim that chemical exposure in a semiconductor manufacturer's "clean room" caused their children's birth defects. Tumlinson, et al. v. Advanced Micro Devices Inc., No. 08C-07-106 FSS (Del. Sup. Ct.).

The high court issued a two-page order on Feb. 21 denying the application for certiorari filed by Wendolyn Tumlinson and other plaintiffs after the lower court granted a defense motion to exclude testimony by epidemiologist Linda Frazier, M.D., M.P.H. on Daubert grounds.
