NEW ORLEANS - Saying the plaintiff had ample opportunity to amend pleading deficiencies, a federal judge has dismissed with prejudice an oil worker's claim for medical monitoring for workplace exposure to radiation and toxins. Bourgeois v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 11-2787 (E.D. La.).

U.S. District Judge Martin C. Feldman's Feb. 16 ruling follows his Dec. 8 decision to dismiss Joseph Bourgeois' medical monitoring claim for failure to meet pleading requirements.
