JPML Remands Mann Welding Case to Minnesota for Retrial

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Saying it was giving great weight to the MDL judge's opinion, the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered a welding fume exposure case remanded to the transferor court in Minnesota for retrial. Mann v. Airco/The BOC Group, Inc., et al., No. 1:06-17288 [No. 06-03319, D. Minn.] [MDL No. 1535] (JPML).

The JPML's Feb. 8 Remand Order finalized a conditional transfer opposed by defendants but recommended by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
