CLEVELAND - A federal court granted Lincoln Electric Co.'s motion for continuance of a case management conference scheduled for this month amid indications that Lincoln is talking with its insurer about settling Lincoln's demand for coverage of welding fume claims. Lincoln Electric Co. v. The Travelers Casualty and Surety Co., et al., No. 1:11-cv-2253 (N.D. Ohio).
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio granted the motion Jan. 6 in an unwritten order but did not set a new date for the conference.
