NEW YORK - A New York appellate court has affirmed summary judgment for the New York City Department of Education and others sued by a school speech therapist who attributed various respiratory symptoms to exposure to silica during a construction project. Stredwick v. New York City Department of Education, et al., No. 2010-05932 [Index No. 13979/07] (N.Y. Sup. Ct., App. Div., 2nd Dept.).
