SAN FRANCISCO - A California appellate court has affirmed an order preventing growers from intervening in an environmental group's challenge to the California Department of Pesticide Regulation's decision to allow the use of methyl iodide-based pesticides. Pesticide Action Network North America, et al. v. California Department of Pesticide Regulation, et al., No. A132044 (Calif. Ct. App., 1st Dist.).
The First Appellate District said in its unpublished Dec. 23 opinion that the appellants failed to show that a trial court abused its discretion in denying either their motion to intervene or their motion for reconsideration.
