NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - A New Jersey Superior Court judge has granted a silica defendant's motion for summary judgment, dismissing with prejudice all claims, counterclaims and cross-claims against A/GL Welding Supply Co. Douglas v. 3M Co., et al., No. MID-L-1840-06 (N.J. Super. Ct., Middlesex Cty.).
Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Ann G. McCormick signed the brief order on Dec. 2 without opinion, although AGL had argued that plaintiff John Douglas and other parties had failed to offer any evidence of product identification linking AGL's products to Douglas' alleged injuries.
