Expert Discovery in Casino Smoking Case to Conclude by June

LAS VEGAS - A discovery order filed by a federal magistrate judge last month anticipates that parties to a workplace smoking case can complete class expert discovery and prepare for dispositive motions by early June. Kastroll v. Wynn Resorts Ltd., No. 2:09-cv-02034 (D. Nev.).

Magistrate Judge Cam Ferenbach entered the order on Oct. 26, noting that in some cases he had to resolve differences in the parties' proposals for experts' reports and the possibility that air sampling may need to be scheduled.

Any motion for air sampling may be made before Feb. 20, he said.
