SYRACUSE, N.Y. - A New York judge has issued an amended case management order in a former ceramics factory worker's suit alleging that he developed silicosis from exposure to products made by Alcoa Inc. and other suppliers. Irwin, et ux. v. Alcoa Inc., et al., No. 33-09-0799 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., Onondaga Cty.).
Onondaga County (N.Y.) Supreme Court Justice James P. Murphy signed the Second Amended Preliminary Conference Order on Aug. 30, which amended an April 11 schedule for depositions, medical examination and other pre-trial matters.
