NEW YORK - A New York appellate court has ruled that a former New York City detective waited too long to file a claim for post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of his work at the World Trade Center site after Sept. 11, 2001. Tuitt v. City of New York, et al., 2011 N.Y. Slip Op. 05432 (N.Y. Sup. Ct., App. Div., 1st Dept.).
