CLEVELAND - Defendant Lincoln Electric argues in opposition to a motion to change venue for retrial of a welding fume MDL case that the plaintiff hasn't shown that the proposed change from Ohio to Minnesota would be either convenient for the parties or serve the interests of justice. Mann v. Airco/The BOC Group Inc., 1:06-cv-17288 (N.D. Ohio).
The welding products manufacturer filed its brief on June 20, responding to David Mann's May 20 motion to move the retrial from the Northern District of Ohio to Minnesota, where Mann's case was originally filed.
