TRENTON, N.J. - A former DuPont Co. worker who said he was humiliated and suffered mental anguish after warning the company of possible phosgene safety hazards was awarded more than $1.22 million after a trial on his emotional distress claim, and that verdict has been affirmed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
