Bench Trial Ends Favorably for New England's Only Cement Plant

AUGUSTA, Maine - A federal judge has issued Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law in a nuisance and property damage case brought by neighbors of New England's only cement plant, finding in favor of the plant on all causes of action. Darney, et al. v. Dragon Products Company LLC, No. 2:08-cv-47-GZS (D. Maine).

Judge George Z. Singal of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine issued his 48-page ruling in favor of Dragon Products Co. on March 22 following a bench trial held over five days in October and November.
