MDL Court Reschedules Street Trial for November; Orders Daubert Hearing

CLEVELAND - Trial in the next-scheduled Welding Fume Products Liability MDL has been moved to November by presiding Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley, who also ordered a Daubert hearing on expected testimony by the plaintiff's medical expert. Street v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:06-cv-17026 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
The order rescheduling trial in Street, which was to have begun in June, was filed on March 25 to memorialize decisions taken following a March 14 status teleconference in the litigation pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
