Miss. Sup. Ct. Gives Industry Appellees to March 15 to Respond in Kinsey

JACKSON, Miss. - Industry parties defending an appellate court decision that Diana Kinsey lacked standing and was too late in bringing wrongful death claims on behalf of her late stepfather's estate have been given additional time to respond to Kinsey's opening brief to the Mississippi Supreme Court. Kinsey, et al. v. Pangborn Corp., et al., No. 2010-CA-00925 (Miss. Sup. Ct.).
The high court granted appellees' motions for additional time that were filed on Jan. 14 and Feb. 22 and has set a deadline of March 15 for the appellees' response.
