JACKSON, Miss. - Diana Kinsey argues in her opening brief to the Mississippi Supreme Court that a state trial court erred in finding that she lacked standing and was too late in bringing wrongful death claims on behalf of her late stepfather. Kinsey, et al. v. Pangborn Corp., et al., No. 2010-CA-00925 (Miss. Sup. Ct.).
Diana Kinsey filed her 30-page appellants' brief on Dec. 17, challenging the decision by the Harrison County (Miss.) Circuit Court to seek wrongful death damages against silica companies on behalf of the beneficiaries of Ted Watkins.
