Welding Fume Products MDL Schedules Next Trial for June

PHILADELPHIA - U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley, who presides over the federal Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, has postponed the next MDL trial from March to June. In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, No. 1:03-CV-17000 [MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Judge O'Malley issued the order on Jan. 7 postponing trial in Street v. Lincoln Electric (No. 06-CV-17026) until on or about June 1, 2011.

Street was scheduled for trial beginning on March 14.

Richard Street, a Michigan resident, alleges continuing neurological injury from exposure to welding fumes.
