OAKLAND, Calif. - Plaintiffs in the California silica litigation have asked the judge overseeing the Alameda County coordinated docket to order Clemco Industries Corp. to pay out settlements to each individual who has agreed to accept them since they were recommended a year ago. McClarty v. Clemco Industries Corp., et al., No. RG 08-420736 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The request comes in a Response to Order to Show Cause that plaintiffs filed Oct. 29 in Alameda County Superior Court following Clemco's own demand for answers as to why all plaintiffs in a pending wrongful death action haven't yet signed …
