CLEVELAND - A Utah widow pursuing a wrongful death suit against welding product manufacturers cited hardship in asking the presiding judge in the federal welding fume MDL to transfer the case from Ohio to her home state. Seely v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 09-17015 [I_n re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation_, MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Hillary Seely submitted the Motion to Transfer Venue on Nov. 1, saying she is the sole caretaker of two children and pursuing the litigation in Ohio is "unduly burdensome."
