OAKLAND, Calif. - Counsel for four dozen bridge welders and defendant IHI Environmental Inc. have agreed to postpone a January trial for four to six months while they attempt to finalize a settlement, according to the most recent court filing. Aguirre, et al. v. ESAB, et al., No. RG05212890 [In re Welding Product Cases, JCCP No. 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The parties filed the stipulation on Nov. 2 in the Alameda County (Calf.) Superior Court, noting that the court has scheduled a Dec. 10 settlement conference.
