Calif. Bridge Welding Cases Assigned to New Judge

OAKLAND, Calif. - The Aguirre group of welding fume cases, brought by workers on the Oakland Bay Bridge have been reassigned to Alameda County Superior Court Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers (Aguirre v. ESAB, No. RG05212890 [In re: Welding Product Cases, JCCP No. 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

The Notice of Reassignment was filed on Sept. 20 by the county's presiding judge, Jon R. Rolefson.

The cases were previously assigned to Superior Court Judge Robert B. Freedman.
