OAKLAND, Calif. - Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert B. Freedman has postponed consideration of motions by a defendant and plaintiff until Oct. 29 as the parties apparently continue settlement negotiations. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Judge Freedman, who presides over California's coordinated Welding Products docket, was to hear argument on IHI Environmental Inc.'s motion for leave to file a cross-complaint and on plaintiff Richard Wacht's motion to compel IHI on Sept. 16, but instead entered a notice on that date rescheduling the hearing for Oct. 29 (See HarrisMartin's Litigation Watch: Welding …
