CLEVELAND - Plaintiff James Clinger has filed an objection to numerous defense exhibits in a scheduled Sept. 29 trial, saying that the "overwhelming majority of Defendants' documents" should be excluded as hearsay, irrelevant or lacking proof of authenticity. Clinger v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:04-CV-17118 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Clinger filed the objections on Sept. 14, saying that the proffered exhibits are so numerous - 5,100 items - that he did not previously have time to address them on an individual basis.
