Plaintiffs in Sept. Trial Voluntarily Dismiss Their Welding Claims

CLEVELAND - The Mississippi couple who were scheduled to try their claims in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in September filed a motion to withdraw on July 22, and the motion has been granted by the court. Hodge, et al. v. The Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:04-cv-19007 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley, who presides over the Welding Fume MDL, granted the motion to dismiss with prejudice on July 23. Judge O'Malley modified her order on July 26 to remove language stating …
