CLEVELAND - Socra Corp. has asked the federal judge overseeing the Welding Fume Products Liability cases to set aside a default judgment entered on July 7, saying it has not misrepresented its non-relationship with defendant Arcos Industries and reiterating its claim of improper service. Jerkins v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:04-cv-18810 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Socra filed its motion on July 9, seeking leave to enter a limited appearance to move to set aside the default judgment. Plaintiff Charles Jerkins Jr. responded on July 21.
