IHI Asks for Leave to File Cross-Complaint Against Contractor

OAKLAND, Calif. - Defendant IHI Environmental has asked the judge presiding over the coordinated California welding fume docket to allow it to file a cross-complaint against the bridge contractor that hired it to consult on environmental issues. In re Welding Product Cases, JCCP No. 4368 [Aguirre, et al. v. ESAB, et al., No. RG05212890] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
A hearing on the motion is tentatively scheduled for July 22 before Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman.
