OAKLAND, Calif. - The Alameda County Court has approved a bridge welder's $12,500 settlement with a workplace design specialist described in court papers as a "minor player" in the consolidated welding fume litigation initiated by workers on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge project. Link v. Welding Products Cases, No. RG05212890 [JCCP 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The order approving the settlement between Gustav W. Link and Lacroix Davis LLC was signed by Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert B. Freedman on April 30.
