COLUMBUS, Ohio - A federal judge has dismissed former employees' claims of workplace exposure to radiation and other substances at a uranium diffusion facility, finding them barred by the statute of limitations as well as workers' compensation limitations. Walburn, et al. v. Lockheed Martin Utility Services Inc., No. 2:09-CV-288 (S.D. Ohio).
Judge Edmund A. Sargus Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio also said in his March 30 opinion that he found no support for plaintiffs' contention that alleged discovery lapses by Lockheed Martin Utility Services Inc. in an earlier lawsuit would require the court …
