Summary Judgment for ESAB and BOC in Case Nearing Trial

CLEVELAND - A federal judge has awarded summary judgment to welding product defendants ESAB Group Inc. and BOC Group Inc., which faced only conspiracy claims in a scheduled May 7 trial of claims by welder David Mann. Mann v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:06 CV 17288 [MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Judge David D. Dowd Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, who will preside at the upcoming trial, issued the order on April 23 to grant summary judgment motions by all defendants on fraud and conspiracy claims.
