CLEVELAND - Jurors in the latest Welding Fume Products MDL case to go to trial concluded on March 25 that Hobart Brothers Co., which supplied welding products to plaintiff Ruben Arroyo's employer, was not responsible for his neurological injuries. Arroyo v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:08-WF-17980 [In re Welding Fume Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Hobart Brothers was the only defendant to go to trial before Judge Jack Zouhary in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Trial began on March 15.
