JACKSON, Miss. - The Mississippi Court of Appeals has affirmed orders denying medical and disability benefits to a truck driver who claims that serious heart and lung ailments were caused by accidental exposure to cleaning products at work. Langford v. Southland Trucking LLC, et al., No. 2009-WC-00640-COA (Miss. Ct. App.).
The court ruled on March 25 that an Industrial Commission's decision to deny benefits to Raymond D. Langford was supported by "credible substantial evidence," and it affirmed on that basis.
