CLEVELAND - Hobart Brothers Co., the sole defendant in a trial scheduled to begin on March 15, has asked the federal MDL court to allow a follow-up deposition of plaintiff Reuben Arroyo to ask about what it says are previously undisclosed medical treatments. Arroyo v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:08-WF-17980 [MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Arroyo's counsel responded on Feb. 1, saying the request "adds insult to injury" and is an attempt to intimidate Arroyo on the eve of trial.
