MDL Defendants Disclose Experts for Scheduled June Trial

CLEVELAND - Defendants preparing for a June 7 trial date disclosed their expert witnesses on Jan. 19, providing a list for trial but reserving their right to call additional experts as warranted by discovery. Phillips v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:05-CV-18773 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Defendants and plaintiff Jerry Phillips jointly proposed an amended case management order on Dec. 22 in which they asked the court to approve one-month extension of deadlines for expert reports, until Jan. 28, and delay the close of fact discovery until March 22.
