Judge Denies Bridge Consultant's Motion for Summary Judgment

OAKLAND, Calif. - The judge presiding over the coordinated California welding docket has denied an industrial hygiene firm's motion for summary judgment on claims by workers on the Bay Bridge Skyway Project. Aguirre v. ESAB, No. RG05-212890 and Link v. ESAB, No. RG05242754 [In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman entered a tentative ruling on Dec. 18 denying the motion by IHI Environmental Inc., and affirmed the uncontested ruling on Dec. 22.
