OAKLAND, Calif. - California Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman has denied a motion by bridge workers to compel production of documents that an environmental consulting defendant says are protected by attorney-client or work-product privileges. Aguirre, et al. v. ESAB, et al., No. RG05212890 [In re Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
IHI Environmental Inc. said in its opposition that the documents sought were previously held to be privileged and are only at issue now because of a procedural technicality.
