NEW YORK - A federal judge has dismissed a family's wrongful death claim against the New York City Transit Authority, saying that allegations the authority was negligent in protecting workers after the World Trade Center attacks are barred by the workers' compensation statute. Felicien v. U.S. Federal Environmental Protection Agency, et al., No. 08-civ-3847 (S.D. N.Y.).
