CLEVELAND - Approximately 166 plaintiffs whose claims were originally filed in West Virginia have stipulated to the federal MDL court that they are dismissing claims against the American Welding Society. In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, No. 1:03-cv-17000 [MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Rodolfo Adames and other plaintiffs filed the notice of stipulation with the court on Oct. 27.
The Adames case is one of 2,400 cases that were transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in October 2004.
