OAKLAND, Calif. - Bridge Workers alleging they were injured while working on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge have filed a third amended complaint, still alleging negligence on the part of welding product manufacturers and distributors and an environmental monitoring firm. Aguirre v. ESAB, et al., No. RG-05-212890 [In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Francisco Aguirre and 47 co-plaintiffs filed a motion to allow the amended complaint on Sept. 9; Alameda County Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman granted the motion on Sept. 21.
