CLEVELAND - Defendants in the ongoing Cooley welding fumes trial have asked the trial judge to clarify her order limiting testimony by one of their experts. Cooley v. Lincoln Elec. Co., No. 1:05-CV-17734 [MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).
Counsel for the four trial defendants said they made the motion from "an abundance of causation" to ensure that Frederick Boelter can offer opinions based on the Oct. 7, 2008, American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists Notice of Intended Change for manganese.
