PORT GIBSON, Miss. - Trial is expected to get underway on Sept. 29 in a silica case brought by a Mississippi man who claims he developed silicosis as a result of exposure at dozens of work sites throughout his home state, Louisiana and Alabama. McGraw v. Clark Sand Co. Inc., et al., No. n/a (Miss. Cir. Ct., Claiborne Cty.).
Charles Larry McGraw's case is set to begin in Claiborne County Circuit Court, where jurors returned a verdict in May for defendants Clemco Industries Corp., Precision Packaging and Lone Star Industries.
